# How do I start sending SMSes using FirstHive?

To start sending SMSes using FirstHive, you will need to purchase a long code (steps given inside application). Once you have purchased a long code that you can use as your sender Id. The next thing you will need to do is to buy SMS credits. You will be able to do this from Account Usage menu.

Please be aware that sending of SMSes may be governed by the local regulations prevalent in the geography.
