# Sharing with non-SugarSync users: is it free?

If I were to share files from SugarSync with non-users, would they have to pay?

No, but the people you shared something need to register a free account to access the files online, account that comes with zero storage but get 512 MB of sign up bonus. If this person install the desktop app, earn 125 MB of free storage. The same for mobile apps.
Honestly, with so many other options available, I see no reason to continue using SugarSync, mainly due huge limitation sharing with non-users.
