# I have on occasion needed to share a doc with yahoo, hotmail, and other email accounts. Is there an effective way to gather the edited versions and sync them back into Google Docs?

but they do need to login to google to edit I believe

Actually, this feature is now supported!  I&#39;m very happy to see that.

Right-click on your document in Google Drive.  Click Share... =&gt; Share.
It mentions &quot;Who has access&quot; and by default, it shows Private - Only the people listed below can access.  Click Change... and then click &quot;Anyone with the link&quot;.  Click &quot;Save&quot;.  Copy and paste the &quot;Link to share&quot; URL and email it to friends/colleagues.  I&#39;m glad they have this functionality.
