# I hear you are the only company that offers supplier independent eVMI sensor-managed inventory. How does that work?

Yes, we can put sensors under bins of parts on a rack and then eTurns eVMI polls each bin and takes a weight measurement of those bins several times a day. eTurns eVMI does a complete physical inventory count multiple times a day with no human involvement. eVMI converts weight into quantity, compares the quantity in each bin to a minimum and suggests an order if the bin quantity is less than the minimum.  It eliminates stockouts and overstock.
