# Sending CloudApp's via text

I have been having trouble sending CloudApp's via text. I like to take screenshots, videos, and gifs using the software and then airdrop them to my iPhone so I can text them to customers, prospects, and work colleagues. Lately, it hasn't been letting me send them. I airdrop it to my phone, it shows up in photos, but then won't let me text it. 

I am unsure if this is a CloudApp issue, an iPhone issue, or what exactly, but it didn't use to happen to me. 

Has anyone else run into this and know a solution? CloudApp is my preferred screen and video capture tool but this doesn't seem to happen with other platforms.

hey Nicholas, the file type on an iPhone is different than a standard screenshot captured via Mac. Usually the iPhone format is captured in an HEIF which we haven't yet added support for. We may in the future, but just FYI for now why airdropping (HEIF) to desktop and uploading to CloudApp may not share appropriately
