# Why is a cloud browser more secure than a regular browser?

Not only does Silo run in a secure container that provides perfect isolation, but there are policies that prevent malicious code from executing. There is no sandbox to escape or data to intercept. Also, all data is purged at the end of each session, so there is no data residue that can be stolen.
