# Does Geopointe Work in the Sales or Service Console?

Yes! Geopointe works in the Sales/Service Console view of Salesforce. The map page is "console-aware" and now opens links to the Map page while keeping the user within the console.

The one exception to this is if you want to use Map buttons on record pages, which allows you to launch the Map centered on that particular location. Check out the Console Setup document on creating custom buttons.
