# Does Trakstar come with competencies for me to choose from? Can I customize those and add my own?

Trakstar does come with competencies that you can customize and you can also create your own from scratch.

Trakstar comes with a library of over 100 competencies including full competency description, 5 point rating scale descriptions specific for each competency and each level in the rating scale, and coaching tips available for managers specific for each competency. 

You can also add your own competencies and customize the ones provided in the library.
