# Please bring form data in the Rest API while consuming.

While consuming a Rest API, which is exposed by the server, i.e., outside OutSystems, as body form data in binary format, it is pretty challenging to consume that. 

Also, while exposing the same rest API in the body form, we need to change the external systems methods to set the boundary, which is causing more time since these are already developed and in production.

Form data is HTTP terminology for any data a user enters on a web page (HTML form) and that is subsequently sent (or “posted”) to a web server via HTTP.
