# Perplexity AI to merge with TikTok?

&lt;p&gt;I think I might be the last person I know that has never downloaded TikTok. I have multiple friends that try to send me Tok&#39;s, but it will no longer let me watch them on my phone without the app. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But I know many people absolutely love it, so who am I to root against a merger that might save its viability in the U.S. 😂&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Yeah, I do understand the appeal, but to be honest, I know myself and I don&#39;t want to get addicted to it, so I would just rather not even have it available and tempting me.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hello Brett,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I never downloaded it either, but I have seen some videos on other people&#39;s phones on the platform.  My kids love it and so do other kids of the same age.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&#39;ll just put it down as an app that has passed me by.  I&#39;m sure there will be many others before I leave this life :-)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
