# Performance, related to process a lot of data is something that we can improve taking more machine resources in our contract?

basically, I just wonder if, since Tray.io is an iPaas, getting better performance in our instance is something that we can get just by renegotiating our contract?

Thanks for the question. There are a variety of ways to optimize specific workflow steps and processes that can dramatically improve data processing performance. In all likelihood, with a couple specific tweaks, data processing speeds should be much faster. I would suggest partnering with our fantastic CS team to take a look and diagnose how we can improve your workflow design. Without digging into your exact implementation, it is difficult to know what specifically is occurring, but our CS team often can identify areas for optimization fairly quickly.
