# Options available when a call is received outside of business hours.

My company implemented Aircall a few months ago and I am finding their options for call routing outside of business hours extremely limited, and by limited, I mean there are no options.

I am struggling to understand why Aircall does not provide its customers with the same call routing options for outside of business hours as it does for inside of business hours.
Why are we not able to add IVR options, or at the very least include a redirection, for calls received outside of business hours? Why are we limited to only allowing our callers to leave a voicemail?

My ideal workflow is if someone calls outside of business hours, to allow them to press 1 and leave a voicemail for the relevant department or press 2 to be transferred to our afterhours team.
We are not able to transfer them to our afterhours team immediatley as they charge a hefty fee, so we need to give our callers the option to leave a voicemail instead.

Is there anyone else experiencing this same issue? And if so, are you able to advise the work-around trhat you have implemented?

Thank you!

We used to forward this to a secondary answering service (AnswerConnect), You may also set up a voicemail so your customers can leave you a message.
