# Only one?

I havent' really ever used anything besides evernote. Are there any other cloud based note taking apps out that compare? Is evernote really the only one?

Google Drive, Springpad and OneNote are the only ones that come to mind. Evernote is the clear leader

Personally I think evernote is the best one out there. Like everyone has said there are a few others but on a personal preference I think evernote trumps them all

Evernote is great, but there are quite a few alternatives:
Springpad
Google Keep
Google Drive (though offline writing can be a pain)
Catch Notes (for iOS and Android)
OneNote (which is pretty much a default if you have a Windows phone)

They don't have a monopoly, but surprisingly the space is pretty small. The main players besides Evernote are Springpad (https://springpad.com/about) and Google Keep (https://drive.google.com/keep) which is part of Google Drive.
