# More assurance in securing the signature that it cannot be copied or pasted

Unless there is something I can do in locking it

Hi Claire!
The already placed electronic signatures cannot be copy-pasted, that&#39;s correct.
And there are also two more things assuring document security in SignNow:
1) Audit Trail - in which you can see absolutely all actions on a document (who opened, who edited, downloaded and e-signed, along with the IP addresses and emails of all these people)
2) if you are the sender of a document to be e-signed and you would like to double check who is e-signing, you can preset a secret password. Or you can go for signer authentication via SMS or phone call.
