Metamask does not support all coins.

It supports coins on the main Ethereum Network and from non-Ethereum networks that are EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible .

Some of the popular non-ethereum EVM compatible networks that Metamask supports are:

Optimism
Fantom
Polygon
Binance Smart Chain
Avalanche
Arbitrum
xDai
ZkSync
PulseChain
Linea
Evmos

you can always add more EVM compatible networks to your wallet by manually adding their RPC addresses in Metamask.

Some of the popular chains that Metamask does not support are:

Solana
Bitcoin
Tron
Sui
Aptos

No, not all coins are supported on metamask. Metamask support any ERC-20 (ethereum based cryptocurrency) and multichains such as binance smartchain, polygon, avax, etc
