# MemberPress setup feels tough for first-timers, but support is very thorough

I’ve had a great experience with the support team in MemberPress. They handle issues with a lot of care and stick with it continuously until everything is resolved. That said, the Easy Affiliate plugin seems like it needs a thorough checkup because issues can come up right from the start, and even though activation is easy, the overall setup can feel like a Herculean task for a first-timer. Have others run into similar installation and activation problems, and what helped you get set up smoothly?
