# Marketo vs. Eloqua

I've been using Marketo for the past few years at work and have been really impressed with the functionality and ease of use that it offers. I've also heard Eloqua is a great solution with very powerful features but a much higher price tag. What do you guys think the biggest pros and cons of both are?

I've used Marketo in the past and it's a great tool, but at my current position I use Act-On, while it can be more expensive the features are plenty. I'd look into it if you're looking to upgrade your marketing automation feature set.

I've only see a demo of Marketo, and honestly it seemed like overkill for my organization at the time. For small and medium sized businesses, I would take a serious look at Pardot (ExactTarget/SalesForce.com). Having been acquired recently by SalesForce, this is going go become THE marketing automation solution in the industry. Ideally it get's rolled into SalesForce.com some day so marketers and sales teams can have 1 solution that meets all needs.
