# ManageEngine ADAudit Plus: how do you handle alerts when the audit service stops?

We’ve found the console easy to manage, with plenty of built-in reporting templates, and setup was quick to get running. We mainly use it for file share monitoring and it’s helped us audit what’s happening on our shared drive. One gap for us is not getting any alerts when the AD Audit service crashes or stops working. How are others handling notifications or monitoring for service outages?

We connected AD Audit with our SIEM from Crowstrike, is it possible to find logs of the user authentication in the SIEM interface web.
