# Klout alternatives?

I find Klout to be a decent way to monitor/generate/schedule my social media content, but are there any other free sites that can do more?

I’m Marshall Lager, a research analyst in CRM Sales and Customer Service at G2. That’s a great question, more so now because Klout has become part of Khoros.

While the days of stating our Klout, Kred, or other numerical influence scores have passed, the functions those apps served are still with us. Khoros still contains most of Klout's functions, so you might not have to look any further than that. You could also try HootSuite Insights or BuzzSumo for tracking and measuring your social data. Kred (now Empire.Kred) provides a heavily gamified alternative if that's what you're looking for. Social Searcher is another possibility, and it's free. Hope this helps!
