# JIRA integration with HP Service Anywhere

i want to integrate JIRA with HP Service Anywhere in such a way that when a request is placed in JIRA a similar Request should get locked in HP Service Anywhere so that it can also be tracked from HP SAW as well

You can easily create two way integrations between JIRA and Service Anywhere. In the specific case you ask about, you would simply invoke Service Anywhere&#39;s REST APIs to log the Request or Incident. Conversely, you can also consume a JIRA API from with Service Anywhere to open a Defect as a result of a SAW ticket being opened.
