Yes! If you look online and see some of the amazing and demanding sites that are using Wagtail that's great validation. Behind the scenes technically it's much more modern and leaves behind a lot of the cruft from older products. Especially it has a strong underlying database, which if used appropriately can make a much more flexible and robust site.
