# Is there inbuilt chatting feature on Evernote?

I would like to know if there is an inbuilt chat application on Evernote.

Yes, you can use the chat feature in Evernote for text-based messages.

You can share the note or notebook with others in the free version.  There may be a chat feature with higher levels of the product.
