While it works with a software that's browser based, it cannot capture things that occur in external windows, such as chrome extensions

Alas, there are still a few things we can't do. This isn't necessarily an exhaustive list, since new technology is constantly popping up, but these are the most commonly requested:

Canvas
WebGL
Plugins such as Flash, Java, Silverlight, etc.
