Is there any way to add sound to captured video

Usually this is done at the time you're recording the capture, there's a setting to record either a microphone, or your system audio, or both. If you need to lay narration back over a prerecorded video, that is when I usually switch to Camtasia their full video editing software. Or I'll re-record.

Yes, all captured video contains a sound track.

Snagit can record audio from your computer's microphone or a USB microphone. On the Video Recording toolbar, click the Microphone Audio button. Microphone audio recording is enabled when the button is green. There is no way to add audio in post-production, however.
