# Is there an automation trigger that will add contacts with existing tags, contact fields, etc?

I'd love to set up automations for our community that will basically add a segment of contacts to an automation. Right now we manually add contacts from the contact list.

Hi Courtney, I am assuming that the contacts will  have a defining characteristic e.g. a particular tag.

Assuming they will, I would create an automation trigger which checks for that tag and then adds them to the new list.

1. Create Segmentation List
2. Create Identifying Tag

You can either select all existing contacts and give them the new tag and/or create an automation that assigns the tag e.g. via a webform to all new contacts that fit the criteria.

Again, I am making quite few assumptions here.  So, excuse me if the solution is a little or a lot off the mark.
