# Is there a way to prevent certain songs from influencing playlists that are curated for me?

If I am listening to whale sounds to study/do work, I don't want that influencing my discovery weekly, etc. I would like for there to be a way that I could listen to music and not have it influence any of these playlists.

I don't think there is any way to stop that other than using Anonymous mode or using another account. Though there are spotify mod apps that may be able to help you with this. you may try installing this https://bestforandroid.com/apk/spotify-premium-mod-apk-free/ I think it will work because it work differently.

Not actually since the algorithm is the main key in this software ,All you need to do is to unlike that song then the algorithm realize your level of interest to that genre and impact the playlist.
