# Is there a way to identify the name of the member who filled out the survey? Can we respond?

Would love a way to respond to members who take the time to provide feedback.

Yes, you can pass custom data and filter out who has responded and revert back.

Hi, Heather! In order to identify who submitted a survey, you'd need to be passing through some kind of ID to us, like email or customer ID. If you'd like, we'd be happy to look at your account specifics on this. If you'd like to email me directly at christy@apptentive.com I can get you in touch directly with your customer success manager.
