# Is Redzone an MES (Manufacturing Execution System)?

&lt;p&gt;Many manufacturers compare Redzone to a traditional MES because of its real-time OEE tracking and equipment monitoring. The difference is that Redzone connects the &lt;em&gt;people&lt;/em&gt; behind the machines too, it’s a workforce-first approach to digital transformation&lt;/p&gt;
