I'm not sure what you mean by legit but it is not a scam if that's what you mean. I use it to contact clients without having to give out my personal number. I can silence notifications when I'm not at work and would be able to delete or change numbers if there was ever an issue. I appreciate the service I get from OpenPhone and it works well for my purposes.

When it works it is great, but there were several outages last month that severely limited my ability to field calls. I have my office phone forwarded to my OpenPhone and when it went down, I had to use other services. If I had to do it over again I would have used the month-to-month option.

We've been using OpenPhone for our small 5 person office team for the last 1.5 years and have had favorable experiences. Our most valued features are: it allows us to use the convenience of cell phones (texting, answering office line from any cell accessible location, not carrying a personal and work phone, bluetooth accessories/headsets, etc.) There are also some handy features like "do not disturb" so you don't get OpenPhone calls unless you want to. All the phone interactions with customers are also accessible online through computer interface, which is handy for retrieving texted files/images from customers. Overall, OpenPhone has been an easy integration and versatile tool for us.

Yes. They are a legit company but there are some draw backs. They only work if you have wifi or data from another provider. They also cannot receive SMS verification codes. But for basic texting and calling, they are great.

100% Legit. I used to use VoIP.ms but had continual trouble. I moved to open phone from TELUS as I moved to Colombia South America and my business (online) is still thriving in the Edmonton Alberta market thanks to Open Phone. I ported both my cell and my landline. The landline has been in use since 1978 so I was worried about moving it as I paid big $$$ for it but I am 100% glad I did as my phone costs in Canada were out of control.

Been using it for several months and I'd say it's super legit. Works perfectly as a small business phone line.

### Comment 13

Absolutely. It’s an app that gives you a separate phone number and has all of the texting/phone call functions of your phone. It’s like a business phone inside your personal phone.
