# Is it safe to add my ubuntu system in a Active Directory domain?

I have always wondered and wanted to add Linux Systems to the domain, however, I have received mixed responses that, it keeps breaking and won't work, so wanted to know what you all think about it.

It is safe but you might have to do some tweaking since the protocols might not be completely compatible.
I know of several companies that are actually running UBUNTU servers and using WINDOWS computers for their users, which gives an added bonus in stability, speed and security.
