# Is it possible to pivot data from Rows to Columns?

Hi James,

Absolutely! For example, both our Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel destinations support splitting data by rows or columns. When creating your query and selecting which dimensions to split the data by, simply choose whether you want to split the data to rows or columns.

Additionally, you of course have all of the native reporting tools at your disposal, such as the transpose command in both Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

Pivoting data works in a number of our other destinations as well. Feel free to let me know exactly which destination you&#39;re working with and I&#39;d be happy to give more detailed instructions.
