If your use case is to lookup IP addresses, get ASN info, or geolocation data for business or developer purposes, IPinfo is a safe and solid option. It wouldn’t raise red flags as a scam or unreliable provider.
However, if your requirement is very high-precision geolocation (e.g., pinpointing an exact household address) or you have sensitive data/privacy concerns, you should still treat the results as “good-but-not-perfect” and perhaps compare with other sources or use fallback/data-validation.
