Yes, extremely. There are so many things you can do with Convertkit that you can't with MailChimp. Some highlights: Advanced tagging to really organize your customers and send them the most relevant emails. Automations and rules which has an endless amount of things you can do to automate your business and gain more insight about your customers. They also have sequences, broadcasts, forms you can embed on websites, landing pages, and they are always coming up with something new too!
