CLION is an integrated development environment for C/C++ that is loosely based on the public domain IDE Eclipse. It is a member of a growing family of integrated development environments by Jet Brains. I have used it as my every day development environment for the last three years, and it has enhanced my productivity in many ways. Each new version brings unexpected new features and it has been a real joy to use. I am a confirmed CLION advocate.
