Hi there,

We're sorry to hear of the issues you've been experiencing with Bark.com, and we have passed all feedback on to the team internally.

We do however refute the claims made against us.

All leads are screened by an automated system, and we have a credit return policy which covers any contact details which are not working. We usually find that customers don't respond when they have hired, or are considering hiring, another professional. As such, we find that responding to leads quickly gives professionals a higher conversion rate.

Professionals can also adjust their lead preferences in the settings of their account, to filter their leads received based on the answers a client gives us.

We would be happy to help you make the most of our platform - please email us at team@bark.com.

Kind regards,

The Bark Team

Don't waste your money. They say they have a guarantee but wouldn't give it to me when I asked for it. In addition, the two people I did meet with were broke and didn't understand the value of a career coach with 30 years of direct experience. Ugh.

No, not necessarily. In theory, it's a good idea. In practice, it works horribly. Basement bargain shopping tire kickers who have no interest in anything but the lowest price and don't value the time of the business. Booking calls and no-showing, or just simply ghosting.

The lead quality is atrocious and it's incredibly frustrating for most business owners, and thus it's largely a waste of time trying to find leads here. It would probably take 150 leads to get one good quality lead.

I got 2 good leads on bark, out of 278 leads purchased, for context. I wish Bark could screen leads better and give businesses an opportunity to form some kind of relationship not just based on lowest-price tire-kicking.

No, it definitely is not -- however, it feels more filtering processes need to be in place to remove inquires that are indeed fraud. For example, the majority of "5k or more" spend are 4 out of 5 times fraud. Also, you need more tiers for businesses that want to pay higher monthly -- it feels very saturated at this point.
