# I would love to text my clients (4k plus) a Happy Birthday text.  Can this be automated?

We currently mail them Happy Birthday Cards.  I would like to continue to do the cards and add the happy birthday text for better impact.

you can text, but not currently  automated with the Unite app.

At this time, I'm not aware of a way to send automated text messages to multiple addresses from within the Intermedia Unite application.
This is based on my conversations with Intermedia Unite  technical support staff, as well as my own research.
I could be wrong, but my sense is that this may be based in part on concerns about violating "spam texting" and "robo-texting" legislation.
There may be a way to automate the sending of text messages through integration with a third-party tool or program, but I can't give you any more specific information on that possibility.
Keep watching Intermedia Unite for updates, based on my limited experience as a customer (about 2 months) they seem very responsive and willing to implement new features and functionality.
