# I know that there is a 64bit version but is it recommended? Plus IPv6

I know that there is a 64bit version but is it recommended to run this on a small scale, 9 users server?
Running on Windows Server 2019 Essential.
Also, is there any limitations in the server related to IPv6 and are there any recommendations
to use it now or are there still some shortcomings that I need to be aware about?

Hey Dan! Smaller installations may not notice much of a difference in performance between the 32 or 64-bit version.

IPv6 implementation will become more important as the world starts to run out of IPv4 addresses, but isn't currently required for a functional mail server environment. Once we start running out of IPv4 addresses, it will be important to have a system that supports IPv6.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else!
