# Hub Spot vs Pardot

I'm very interested in Hub Spot but comparing them to Pardot. Anyone know an pro's or con's only applicable to one or the other? They seem very similar with Hub Spot potentially having more inbound marketing tools vs just standards marketing automation. Is that accurate? Not sure how the SalesForce acquisition of Pardot comes into play, if at all. Any comments appreciated.

HubSpot is the most powerful and organized inbound marketing platform I have used, and it also has great integrations with add ons and other tools/ apps.

HubSpot is an excellent all inclusive tool that is so extremely powerful. You can select specific add ons if you choose or run with it as is. The best part is HubSpot is perfect for companies with 1 person to a large team and includes marketing and sales tools.

The answer boils down to one thing. Do you need a full marketing solution (content management, social media publishing & monitoring, and marketing automation); then you need Hubspot.

Or are you looking for pure marketing automation that works along side other resources you have; then you need Pardot

We use Hubspot with many of our clients and internally. However, some clients use Pardot and like it, others have transitioned to HubSpot from Pardot. With experience in both tools, Hubspot is much easier to use, and their support team is amazing.

The biggest thing that held me back from choosing to go with HubSpot originally is the price tag. However, I’m so glad that we chose HubSpot over Pardot, thanks to the amazing support which can really make or break the experience. We use HubSpot for everything except CRM which we have Salesforce for and we couldn’t be happier. The blog management, landing pages, CTAs, reporting, dashboards, etc. are all so helpful.

I have used a collection of CRMs and found HubSpot before finding Pardot and it does absolutley everything that we need it to do, there are very few areas for improvement (which are so minute they dont affect the function) HubSpot is by far superior

Hi Cherie, you're spot on when it comes to comparing HubSpot's inbound-specific tool set to Pardot's marketing automation. User experience and tool layout is a big difference as well, with HubSpot winning out as is and only working to improve what they already have. While the connection between Pardot and Salesforce may seem enticing, the integration between the two is still a bit of a pain and HubSpot has made huge strides with their CRM system that has an incredbile amount of new, cool tools that get a lot of sales people excited, all for much cheaper than a Salesforce license.

I have never tried Pardot but I have experienced in using Hubspot and totally satisfied. If you are a small and medium company with a modest marketing team, Hubspot is suitable for you : they have all features in one that your team can explore fully.

One thing that I hear people saying all the time is that HubSpot is a marketing automation tool. It is not just that! I can't speak for Pardot as I've not used it but HubSpot is software to run all of your inbound marketing activities in one place. The tools HubSpot has allow your to run multiple marketing funnel campaigns and then tie it all together with the added bonus of automation.

I urge you to opt for HubSpot over anything else!

Not familiar with Pardot, but having used HubSpot and HubSpot CRM, I think it is a great small business tool. Easy to use, customization and the learning curve is very minimal.

HubSpot is the best way in case you need to generate a data base and in case you start from 0. Pardot could be interesting if you have 10k of contacts and you are a medium company. Anyway, if you are a big enterprise, also has unlimited contacts so also is interesting.

Don't know pardot but have heard it's clunky. HubSpot is great for all-in-one - not only getting the job done but analysing it afterwards.

HS is a platform that does exceptionally well at personalisation and story telling. It works seamlessly with Salesforce, although for many clients their free CRM is the best choice.

HubSpot also offer great customer support
