# How to unsubscribe properly

It doesn't have the segmentation: User never opened any campaign nor automation in a specific time.
How do you work around?

Hi! You can check using the buyer's purchase behavior if they have made at least some purchase in a specific period of time.

If no purchase was made, you could check their email addresses to know if the address looks real. Then you can unsubscribe by status if you rely primarily on your campaigns than automation.

And since you can't send campaigns to your 'non-subscribed' contacts, you can unsubscribe them. This is also an excellent way to manage your contact list since you usually don't send emails or SMS to them.

Please do not hesitate to contact us (support@omnisend.com) if you have any additional questions or need any further assistance.
