# How to sync the Drive with Google Photos

Since I have started using Google photos just now, my photos are backed up in Google Drive and I want to Sync google Drive and Google Photos such that I could clear up some more space from my Drive

Both Google Photos and Google Drive are separate storage platforms through Google.  I believe you can no longer have both sync together.  Basically you have to upload any photos you have on Google Drive into Google Photos manually.
