# How to start using KANBANSI?

You can create a KANBANSI board and then divide it into columns that reflect your workflow. You&#39;ll need to think of what steps each task needs to go through. The default set-up for every board 3 phases and one release. But in reality, processes are a bit more complicated and we made sure they are easily adjustable to your needs and simple click to edit default phases or add new will do that work for you.

Usually it&#39;s the best to begin with creating your team or add a new board to an existing joined team. When creating a new board, we suggest adjusting it to your needs as you get going. If you are a Team owner, you can determine roles for all your team members.
