# how to manually update office 365 or how it work from the updated side.

like i have an old version and it's not updating automatically

Mahmoud, if you&#39;re talking about updating the individual apps included in an Office 365 install, the only manual way that I know of is within each app. 

Let&#39;s use Word as an example. Open Word, Click on File in the top left menu, then click on Account. When this page comes up, ensure that your user is logged into the Office 365 account that has access to these apps (Word in this case). 

Next click on the Office Updates button on the right side of the page.  Click Update Now to manually start the update process.
