# How smooth was your Oracle PL/SQL migration to EDB for PostgreSQL?

EDB for PostgreSQL supports much of Oracle’s PL/SQL syntax (packages, procedures, functions) and stays compatible with Oracle data types and overall SQL behavior. At the same time, complex Oracle applications can still require thorough testing and sometimes a few code changes during migration. For those who have migrated, what parts needed the most rework, and what helped you validate everything before going live?
