Synap has invested heavily in security and compliance as a core part of the platform rather than an afterthought. On the compliance side it is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, with regional data hosting options in the EU and US so you can meet local data protection requirements. You also retain full ownership of all your content and data. From a security perspective the platform uses industry grade encryption for data in transit and at rest, and supports SSO, multi-factor authentication, role-based access controls, and IP address restrictions. On the reliability side there is a 99.9% uptime SLA as standard, continuous backups and multi-region redundancy. For organisations running high-stakes or regulated exams, Synap knows these tend to be a non-negotiable and it is something that has been made central to how the platform is built.
