Version 8.0 is the latest O Series release which became available in March 2017. Functionality is enhanced as part of major releases (like 8.0) and service releases. Major releases occur approximately every 18 months with service releases made available every 6 months or so. Defects are addressed as needed in maintenance packs. New data content is continually being added as Vertex responds to regulatory changes and the demands of our customers.
