When I Work has two plans:

Single location or schedule — $2.50/user/month For businesses operating a single schedule. Includes everything you need to schedule employees, track time, manage availability and time off, control labor costs, and connect to payroll. Advanced features like auto-scheduling, GPS clock-in, labor reporting, absence tracking, and shift swapping are all included—no premium tiers or feature upgrades required.

Multiple locations or schedules — $5.00/user/month For businesses managing multiple locations, departments, or scheduling groups. Includes everything in the Single Location plan, plus multi-location tools like unlimited locations and schedules, labor sharing between teams, cross-location reporting, team-based permissions, multiple time zone support, and additional privacy controls. Add locations, departments, and scheduling groups as you grow without changing plans or paying per-location fees.


Time and attendance is included in both plans,  it's not a separate add-on. A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required. Month-to-month or annual billing options are available, with no contracts and the flexibility to cancel anytime.

Hey there, 

My name is Cassee with When I Work’s Customer Care team. I'd be happy to go over pricing! Our current plans are called Standard, Essentials, Advanced, and Complete.

Standard: $2.50/user/month: This plan includes all of our Standard Scheduling features but does not include Time & Attendance or On-Demand Pay. This plan is only available for teams with less than 50 users. 

Essentials: $4/user/month: This plan includes our Standard Scheduling features as well as Time & Attendance but does not include any advanced scheduling features. It does include On-Demand Pay.

Advanced: $6/user/month: This plan includes all of our Advanced Scheduling features but does not include Time & Attendance or On-Demand Pay. 

Complete: $8/user/month: This plan includes all of our Advanced Scheduling features as well as Time & Attendance and On-Demand Pay.
