# How many cold emails per day are you actually sending per mailbox in 2026?

There is a lot of conflicting advice on daily sending limits and most of it is outdated. Some teams still push 100 or more emails per mailbox and rely on warmup to cover for it. Others cap at 30 to 40 per mailbox and spread volume across 5 to 7 mailboxes per domain. Our deliverability team recommends staying under 40 per day per email address, but we keep seeing setups that break that rule and still land in the primary inbox.

So what is actually working for you right now? Keen to know about three things. Your daily cap per mailbox. How many mailboxes you run per domain. And whether you rotate senders inside a single campaign or keep one sender per sequence. If you have moved your caps up or down this year after a deliverability dip, that story would help a lot of people here.
