Snagit improves communication in companies due to its versatility. It is very effective when we want to quickly and timely clarify a situation in a screenshot. From adding steps or arrows to removing unnecessary portions of the image even if they are in the center. Or even to cover privacy in certain parts.

This simple and maturing tool allows for the quick process of communicating with simple visual annotations. I red-line documents, Snagit is much better than Adobe Acrobat (ick!!) for this feature. Keep up the good work.

They say a picture is worth one thousand words. When trying to explain the steps of a process, a visual approach makes it much easier for the recipient to understand and follow along. It may be just a few screen-captures or even a short video that helps explain and illustrate how something works or how to carry out a task, then writing a thousand words. People are more visual learners than readers in my experience when dealing with technical questions.  

When working with other developers, the same approach also works much better with other team members involved to illustrate how something currently works and what changes are needed by the business. It simplifie documentation as well.
