# How have you been supporting your office when everyone is remote?

My whole office has gone remote due to COVID-19 and I'm looking for new and creative ways to keep them engaged and support them!

As a general IT guy I have been supporting my contracted office and many of my personal friends remotely, Occasionally I have to go to the office to do a physical support visit. It is a changed world that I have been experiencing even before Covid 19. Everyone thinks it is new.

Most of our staff is on a rotating teleworking schedule. They are able to print to the office from home and since I am essential in office staff, I am able to work with the employees in office from my department as well as those that are in other departments. I am able to submit and complete invoices, I am able to have other department employees pick up any necessary paperwork while I am in the office.

We have half staff working from hone and the other half are essential staff who are charged with being out in the field, we stay in contact with weekly google hangout meetings and video calls I also check in with my field staff at least once a week to make sure they have all of their PPE and any other issues that may need addressing.

We are tele-working and have weekly All Staff (about 30 people) calls with the Chairwoman, Chief of Staff. Within the 45 minutes, everyone speaks - even if it's just to say hi - and we use FreeConferenceCall. From executive staff, we also send email updates and messages of encouragement to everyone, and we are in contact via phone and video.

We have been sending a weekly email with all the updates we can give to people about where we are, and when we are hoping to re-open. I think this weekly check-in is helping people stay connected even when we are far apart.

I've been sending people a weekly lunch stipend. It keeps them happy and lets them know we are always on their side.

Hi Corey! I've been making sure to keep acknowledging people's birthdays. There are a TON of sites where you can have multiple people virtually sign and then send a card. It's not a lot of effort and keeps our employees happy knowing their colleagues are thinking of them!
