# How hard is it to install LiveChat on the website?

How do I start with LiveChat? What do I need to do to add it to my website?

To start off, you need to create a LiveChat license.

After that you will be redirected to a page with the LiveChat code. Here, you can choose to implement LiveChat yourself or send the instructions to your webmaster.

If you choose to do it yourself, you need to copy the code and then paste it right before the ‹/body› tags of your pages. Then you only need to save the changes and LiveChat will show up on your website. It's simple as that!
